Beulah Highlights
The Beach – the beach is located on the northwest side of the village on the shores of Crystal Lake.
The beach has several hundred feet of sandy shore, a beach house, tennis courts, a playground and parking.
The marked swimming area has a sandy bottom. The Cold Creek spills into Crystal Lake adjacent to the beach and provides another place to swim. Fourth of July celebrations include the fireworks display over Crystal Lake from the beach.
Alcohol is Prohibited on the Beach and
in the Park
The Park – Our park has a large pavilion, barbeques, picnic tables and is almost entirely shaded by majestic hardwoods.
Bring your family and friends for a picnic or schedule your next summer family reunion at the park. Music in the Park evening concerts offered at no charge in the summer. There is also tennis and pickle-ball courts.
The Boat Launch – The Boat Launch – the boat launch is ample and well-maintained, providing access to Crystal Lake, Benzie County’s largest and best-known lake.
The launch is ideal for the launching or removal of most any size or type of watercraft. Use of the launch is at nocharge
Cold Creek – the Cold Creek is a beautiful, natural resource that provides habitat for wildlife. The creek meanders through the Village of Beulah on its way to Crystal Lake. The majority of the Crystal Lake watershed is east of Beulah, where branches of the creek converge and form the primary inlet to the lake.
The Betsie Valley Trail – the bicycle trail runs between Frankfort and Thompsonville, including the village of Beulah in its long stretch.
From Frankfort the trail follows the Betsie River to the shores of Crystal Lake and on into the Village of Beulah. The Benzie Sun Rise Rotary funded the construction of a trail head building in the Village of Beulah where trail riders can rest and seek shelter if needed.
